What is VATS?

VATS stands for Vehicular Anti-Theft System. Every car in America has them right now, and most people don’t even know they have it. Look at your key, if you see a small square cut out or in the case of my key, a little blue dot on the key itself, you have a VATS in your car.

This is incredibly important to have because if you don’t know, then your VATS won’t go off in case someone breaks in. But if someone opens the car without disabling the vats then you are setting off alarms and blaring lights.

- Car Key Programming
